Lange

One of the defining names of UK trance, Lange has helped shape the genre since the late 1990s. His career includes 20 UK Top 40 records, eight years in the DJ Mag Top 100 and performances at Tomorrowland, EDC, Dreamstate and A State of Trance. Classics including Drifting Away, Out of the Sky and Follow Me still bring generations of ravers together.

Asteroid

Welsh DJ and producer Asteroid has built an international name since 2015, taking his high-energy, uplifting sound from the UK and the Netherlands to audiences across Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada. His releases have appeared on Future Sound of Egypt, Armada, Subculture and Black Hole Recordings, earned multiple Beatport number ones and featured on A State of Trance.

Why Asteroid belongs in Sound Pop

Asteroid brings the energy and forward momentum of today's trance scene. His collaboration Symbiotic, with Scott Ramsay, gives Drop 001 its powerful modern edge and proudly represents Welsh talent on an international stage.

A real Sound Pop moment

When Lange came to the stand.

One of the standout moments from our Timescape pre-launch was welcoming Lange to the Sound Pop stand and sharing the very first artist edition with him.

With Follow Me (Lange’s Club Mix), featuring The Morrighan, at the heart of Drop 001, his visit made the launch feel very real. It captured exactly what Sound Pop is about: artists, music and fans connecting in a completely new way.

His enthusiasm for Sound Pop—and for having Symbiotic, his track with Scott Ramsay, at the heart of Drop 001—has been incredible. We're so proud to have both Asteroid and Lange on board, and seeing how excited they are about the project means everything.
